Accessibility Statement

PPIA, together with EasyVirtualFair, is committed to making this site accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in accordance with applicable law.

Conformance status

The accessible version of this fair (routes under /a11y) is conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and 2.1 levels A and AA and with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of the United States (2017 revision, Chapter 5 Software 501-504).

Conformance with WCAG 2.x level AAA is not claimed. This statement is backed by the VPAT 2.5 / Accessibility Conformance Report published in May 2026, available on request at support@easyvirtualfair.com.

The accessible build was validated with axe-core 4.10 against WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A/AA rule tags and returned 0 violations across all generated pages (lobby, exhibitors, jobs, webinars, info stand and individual booths).

Scope

This statement applies to content served under /a11y/ppia. The accessible version is generated automatically for every fair from the same data as the visual version: it does not require any additional configuration from the organizer nor a separate publication step.

The visual version (default interface at /ppia) includes rich features (video conferencing, 3D scenes, animations) that are served through equivalent alternative routes under /a11y. Two-way chat is offered through an accessible per-booth message box available in the accessible build as well.

Compatible technologies

Accessibility of this site relies on the following technologies:

  • Semantic HTML5
  • WAI-ARIA when HTML alone does not convey enough semantics
  • CSS honoring system preferences (reduced-motion, contrast)

Tested with the following screen readers and browsers:

  • JAWS 2024 with Chrome, Edge and Firefox on Windows 11
  • NVDA 2024.1 with Chrome, Edge and Firefox on Windows 11
  • VoiceOver with Safari on macOS 14 and iOS 17
  • TalkBack with Chrome on Android 14

Assessment methods

  • Self-assessment by the EasyVirtualFair development team
  • Automated testing with axe-core 4.10 (Playwright / headless Chromium)
  • Manual keyboard-only navigation of the entire user flow
  • Visual contrast verification against WCAG 1.4.3 and 1.4.11 thresholds
  • Browser zoom checks at 200% and reflow at 320 CSS pixels
  • Spot-checks with NVDA and VoiceOver on the accessible build

Formal end-user testing with JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver, plus a third-party audit, are available on request.

Content uploaded by exhibitors

The platform code is conformant, but materials uploaded by exhibiting companies (PDFs, slide decks, videos, webinar recordings) are outside the direct control of EasyVirtualFair and their accessibility depends on each exhibitor.
